The goal of ASDF is to support children with an autism spectrum disorder by providing information, education and financial assistance to their families and relevant community service organizations.
Funds donated to ASDF will be used to address any and all kinds of issues in assisting children with autism and their families. By providing financial assistance to families and autism-specific organizations, together we are able to give autistic children and their families the resources they need to grow. In addition, we spread awareness by providing Early Detection Kits, free of charge, to individuals and agencies who work with infants, toddlers and preschool children.
One: When you look at statistics that report autism rates to be three or four times higher than 30 years ago, we must conclude a national, if not international, epidemic is at hand. As such, we are empathetic about increasing public awareness and the effects autism has on individuals and families. In fact, every year for the past few years, ASDF has distributed autism awareness information to more than 500,000 new mothers in all 50 states.
Two: Providing families affected by autism with financial assistance. ASDF’s Giving Tree offers financial assistance, which varies for each individual family’s specific needs.
Three: Our Camp Scholarships allow autistic children the opportunity to explore new horizons. Social skills camps are important in the continued healthy growth of children affected by autism.
